SlopeReady terms
Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of SlopeReady, a native iOS app that analyzes Apple Health data and provides guidance for ski-season training, readiness, recovery, and AI coaching.
1. Acceptance
By using SlopeReady, you agree to these Terms and to the SlopeReady Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What SlopeReady does
SlopeReady analyzes the Apple Health data you choose to share, calculates readiness and training signals on your iPhone, and provides training-plan and AI-coaching recommendations.
Your existing tracker records workouts. SlopeReady does not start or stop sessions, record live heart rate, provide real-time GPS tracking, replace Apple Workout, Garmin, or Strava, or write workouts or samples back to Apple Health.
3. Health and safety
SlopeReady supports general fitness, training, and education. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and is not a medical device.
Training involves risk. AI-generated advice and readiness scores can be wrong, incomplete, or inappropriate, especially when data is missing or stale. You are responsible for deciding whether a workout is safe for you. Consult a qualified medical professional before starting or changing an exercise program, particularly if you have an injury, medical condition, or concerning symptoms. In an emergency, contact emergency services.
4. AI coaching limitations
The AI coach can explain training load, recovery, readiness, and plan adjustments. It relies on minimized context you choose to send and the data available in Apple Health and the app, so it does not have a complete picture of your health or circumstances.
Do not rely on AI responses as your sole source of truth for health, injury, medical, nutrition, or safety decisions. If a response conflicts with professional advice, your symptoms, or common sense, do not follow it.
5. Free allowance and SlopeReady Pro
The current release may include a free AI-message allowance. The SlopeReady backend uses a random device-bound identifier in the device keychain to enforce it. The identifier persists after deletion and reinstallation on the same device, which prevents a reinstall from resetting the allowance. It does not sync across devices.
SlopeReady Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple's App Store purchase system. The price, renewal period, cancellation terms, and other required purchase information are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you buy. Apple's terms, billing rules, refund process, and subscription-management controls apply.
RevenueCat processes subscription-entitlement information. To support purchases, restore, AI-use limits, and abuse prevention, SlopeReady uses a random RevenueCat App User ID and may link it server-side with a separate random device identifier. These technical identifiers are not a user account, Health data, or proof of entitlement by themselves. The SlopeReady proxy verifies entitlement information before applying Pro limits. The Privacy Policy describes the related data categories and retention period.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use SlopeReady only for lawful personal fitness and training purposes.
- Grant Apple Health permissions only if you are comfortable with the app reading those data types.
- Review recommendations before acting on them.
- Stop or modify workouts when symptoms, terrain, fatigue, equipment, or conditions make them unsafe.
- Avoid sending sensitive information to the AI coach unless you accept the processing in the Privacy Policy.
You agree not to:
- Use SlopeReady to make medical, emergency, insurance, employment, or legal decisions.
- Misuse the AI coach, proxy, free allowance, purchase systems, or app infrastructure.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or bypass SlopeReady services.
- Use the app in a way that violates another person's rights or privacy.
7. Privacy
The SlopeReady Privacy Policy describes the data used by the app and website. HealthKit access is read-only, local training data stays on your device, and AI coaching uses minimized payloads through the SlopeReady proxy. App analytics and crash reports require opt-in consent. SlopeReady does not sell health data or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
8. App Store and Apple terms
If you downloaded SlopeReady from Apple's App Store or TestFlight, Apple's terms also apply. Apple is not responsible for providing support for SlopeReady beyond the App Store and TestFlight systems Apple operates.
9. Availability and changes
SlopeReady may add, remove, limit, or change features. AI-provider availability, proxy limits, App Store systems, network connectivity, maintenance, and security controls may affect feature availability.
We aim to keep SlopeReady useful and reliable. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, or a particular training outcome.
10. Intellectual property
The operator or its licensors own SlopeReady, including its app design, software, documentation, prompts, and service infrastructure. These Terms let you use the app for personal purposes. They do not transfer ownership of the app or its underlying technology.
You remain responsible for content you type into the app. You grant SlopeReady the limited right to process it as needed to provide the app features you choose to use.
11. Termination
You can stop using SlopeReady at any time by deleting the app and managing any active subscription through Apple's subscription controls. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription. We may restrict hosted features if the app or service is misused, if required by law, or if continued access would risk security, cost controls, or reliability.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, SlopeReady is provided “as is.” The operator is not responsible for injuries, training outcomes, missed goals, lost data, AI mistakes, interrupted service, or indirect damages arising from use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of this section may not apply to you.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the operator of SlopeReady, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your country provide otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
14. Changes and contact
SlopeReady will revise the “Last updated” date when these Terms change. Material changes should also appear in in-app legal links and relevant App Store metadata. Send questions to info@slopeready.app.
