About SlopeReady

SlopeReady began with a problem I ran into every autumn.

The start of ski season should not feel like catching up. That is why I built SlopeReady.

From snowboarding to skiing

My name is Alexey Kalz and I am the managing director of IsarBoards UG (haftungsbeschränkt). I had snowboarded for many years. Around three years ago, when my children started skiing, I learned to ski too so I could join them on the mountain.

I learned to ski. The harder part came at the start of each new season. Without the right preparation, the first days felt needlessly hard. I did not want to discover on the slopes what my legs, endurance, and routine were still missing.

I looked for an app that could support the weeks before a trip. I did not find one that brought my existing training data together with a personal plan and a conversation about the next useful session.

That search became SlopeReady

I did not want to build another tracker. The training records already existed. What I needed was a tool that could turn that history and the time available into a plan for ski season.

SlopeReady uses the Apple Health context you choose to share to plan ski preparation. Its AI coach helps with the next practical question: What fits today? What should change after a missed session? How can the plan stay realistic when everyday life gets in the way?

The app is for people who do not want to start from zero and do not need a rigid calendar. You bring your goal, available time, and training history. SlopeReady helps turn them into preparation that fits your season.
